International Bodyguard Security Services Asotiation

IBSSA (International Bodyguard Security Services Association) is an international association of security experts, developed and represented in over 120 countries. IBSSA is an organization that, in addition to tens of thousands of members, has several dozen training centers where knowledge and skills to perform the protection of persons and facilities in several different levels of training can be acquired. In addition to its regular membership, IBSSA has people from state, security and police structures, and also cooperates with state academies and training centers where members of the civil service are trained.

IBSSA, through its representatives and members (trained and certified members) can provide any type of protection of persons and objects anywhere in the world. When applying for demanding jobs in security-threatened areas, having an IBSSA license is one of the prerequisites for the engagement.

IBSSA headquarters

The headquarters of the IBSSA organization is in the Republic of Hungary, Budapest. Professor Dr. George Popper is the head of the IBSSA organization. The members of the governing bodies of the organization are experts in the various fields of security: Rony Kluger, Secretary General of IBSSA; Dr. Marko Nicović, Deputy President; Dr. Bogdan Vukosavljević, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Karl De La Guerra, President of the Board of Directors.
In addition to many years of successful traininga in the field of protection of persons and facilities, members of the governing bodies of IBSSA, led by the chairman of the organization’s board of directors and representative for the USA, Karl De La Guerra, came up with the idea that the IBSSA organization should act in the fight against trafficking in human beings. In February 2017, the IBSSA Anti Human Trafficking Project (IBSSA AHTP) was launched at the regular IBSSA Congress held in Sarasota, Florida (USA) in collaboration with the University of North Carolina. For the implementation of the project, 30 Bureaus were formed in 26 countries in the world. Mr Karl De La Guerra is the founder of the project based in Sarasota FL (USA).

The launch of the project was preceded by the selection of future Bureau representatives. In place of Bureau chiefs, long-standing IBSSA members, who have proven to be competent in the field of security, have been selected.
In addition to the Bureau in the USA, North Carolina, Florida, Indiana, Georgia, Arizona, California, Bureaus were established in Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Portugal, Angola, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Croatia, Israel, Jordan, Turkey, Cyprus, Singapore. Within this international project, a Bureau in the Republic of Serbia was formed, headed by retired police colonel Milan Belić.
